To further expand our product, we are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer who can leverage their experience, eye for detail, and sense of user experience to elevate our frontend to the next level. Your Role & Responsibilities

As a Frontend Developer, you will play a key role in the further development of our platform. You ensure that our software is not only powerful but also pleasant and intuitive to use. This includes: 

  • UX & Design: Collaborate with product owners and designers on user experience and visual consistency, translating designs from Figma into reusable, consistent UI components.
  • Technical Roadmap: Actively contribute to a scalable frontend architecture and sustainable codebase, including defining the technical direction for scalable UI solutions (such as a headless approach).
  • Design System & Component Library: Take ownership of our component library and ensure consistency, reusability, and scalability across the platform.
  • Quality & Innovation: Brainstorm technical solutions and contribute to performance, testability, and maintainability, including documenting choices in clear technical documentation for other developers. 
Your Profile 
  • Extensive experience with frontend development in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Thorough knowledge of modern component-based frameworks (such as React, Svelte, Vue, or Web Components), including setting up abstract component logic and Headless UI architectures.
  • Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining Design Systems, including Design Tokens, consistent APIs, and reusable component patterns (such as Compound Components and avoiding prop-drilling).
  • In-depth knowledge of Figma Dev Mode, including working with Design Tokens, Variables, and automated design-to-code hand-off processes.
  • Experience with setting up and managing a Storybook architecture as a single source of truth, including MDX documentation, play functions, and accessibility testing.
  • A track record of acting as the architect or founder of at least one complex design system that was successfully adopted in production. (Gelijkgetrokken met de rest van de lijst)
  • Bonus points if you have experience with creative coding and advanced UI interactions (such as Three.js, WebGL, Framer Motion, or GSAP) and can demonstrate this with concrete examples.
